I figured I'd post of pic of my CNC AR45 pistol for those of you who are considering a purchase. I do have one question for those of you who've had 45cal ARs. I'm going to send off my SBR Form 1 this next week and am wondering what calibers I should register this. I'm guessing 45ACP, 10mm and 38 Super would be about the only calibers that are kosher in a Grease Gun mag. Are there any other calibers folks have used GG mags for?

Thanks.

You don't have to register it in mult calibers. It doesn't matter

As the above post said, just put .45ACP.  You're looking for troubles otherwise.  BTW, did you have Mitchell register that as a pistol lower, right?  If not, you might not want to show that off too much.  You cannot legally make a lower that was registered as a rifle into a pistol.  You can however make a pistol into a rifle.  Check out all the Title II/NFA section then go to "General Class Three."  Lots of information there.

I must say, that's going to make one hell of a nice looking SBR.  Let us know how it runs for you.  I'm sure you'll be happy, even thou the wait must have killed you.  Unfortunately, ATF is taking a loooooong time to approve forms these days so you'll have to wait a while longer to fully enjoy that little beauty.  Congrats!

Edited to add...

Here's mine.

Yes, I asked Mitch to register as a pistol receiver, had my FFL write it in his bound book as a pistol receiver and had it transferred to me as a pistol receiver on the 4473.

The last few Form 1s an 4s I'ves submitted were in Q3/Q4 2007. All of them were processed within 45 days of my check getting cashed.

The last ones came in on Christmas eve.... how long are Form 1s taking now? I mean it's only been a month and half since my last one came in... I can't imagine that the backlog has grown that much since December.
