Do they even make these?

I've tried Google and searched about 10 pages in on this forum. No luck.

I see the soft mag holders w' cover and strap but nothing that holds a 9mm AR mag in a Kydex material on the belt.

I'm guessing you are referring to Colt Mags for 9mm AR as the Glock Mag 9mm AR have no issues.  For nylon/cordura HSGI has extended Taco mag pouches that can handle sub-machine mags.

I use G-Code Scorpion Mag Pouch

rocco1695,

I'll also looking for a Colt 9mm mag holder in Kydex to use in steel matches/run & guns.

Sort of like this......

I haven't found anything that is already made.  Looking like its going to have to be a custom order.

If you find anything post it up here and I'll do the same.

The Blackhawk universal double stack, hard pistol mag holders work well.

I use a double Fobus pouch made for Glock 21 mags. Works good for steel match.

I was looking for the same thing for mp5 mags and had a kydex holster maker make me a double mag holder and a quad mag holder. I'm pleased with them.

Those look excellent!  How do the quad holders hold up when fully loaded?  Do they still sit fairly rigid on the belt, or do they start to hang outward?

Who made them for you?  Looks like something I would want to use for Uzi or M11/9 mags.

I started out using Safariland pistol mag holders.  But you can see they didn't always hold the mags as well as I would like.  This picture was taken just before that back mag took a dive onto the ground.

After that, I ended up getting a sheet of kydex and bending some of my own.  They aren't pretty, but they are functional.

The quad is heavy when loaded down but I haven't done any classes or competitions with them. I use a wilderness 5 stitch belt which is pretty stiff and it helps. If  doing again, I'd prob get more doubles. I'll try and find the guy's info that made them.

Edited:
These were 24.00 for the double and 45.00 for the quad. Each mag is adjustable for tension. His email is :
