Well this breaks my heart as Okay's are my go-to. I ordered a whole bunch a few months back when Big Tex had them for $8 and just ordered another 20 this morning after finding this thread.
Should have plenty for the rest of my lifetime, but that's an end of an era Amd I don't care who buys the machines, just like D&H is the old LaBelle, they won't be as good. And yes, the sky is falling, lol |
|
I'm sorry if the above info makes no sense. I'm kind of an idiot.
|
I have been using 20 round Okay mags for 20+ years, mostly as range mags. I have never had one fail.
I ordered five more while they are available. I'm not sure how many 30 rounders I have, but it must be several dozens. |

I received a ten pack from Lanbos recently. Gray E2 with blue follower, dated 1/21. Has anyone received any variation with a 2022 production stamp?

I got 5 tan 30s and 5 black 20s, all gray followers, all 2021 dated.
|
|
|
I think I remember reading that they normally released in batches throughout the year. Hopefully we will be seeing a resupply with the vendors. At this point, I'm only interested in gray 20 rounders for retro purposes.

Got ten E2 FDE from Botach. They have standard magpul followers not the blue style.

Not that kind of electrician.

FYI - Okay E2 mags were never intended for M855A1 ammo. The patented feedlips were designed to improve feeding M855 ammo.

I ordered 8 Okay gray E2 30 rounders from Weapons Outfitters, on the EE. They shipped fast. 6 had Magpul followers and 2 had the blue followers. I'll order from them again.

Did a little contact sleuthing and sent an email with your contact info and a link to this thread. Complete shot in the dark but worth a try. @weaponoutfitters — can you help us out? Edit: Confirmed good sleuth. Now to cross our fingers for PSA SureFeeds. |

This thread encouraged me to order up some of the 20 rounders. I really like the straight bodies. These are my first Okays but I think I need to get some more 20’s and some 30’s.

By far my favorite mag company, ordered a nice addition to my stock of mags when I heard about this.
I haven’t confirmed but I’ve read multiple posts that mentioned they also make the Brownells branded mags, if PSA doesn’t pick the tooling/machinery up maybe Brownells will? |

Are they going to continue shipping mags until the end of the year, or once everyone's current stock is gone that's the end?

Great. Okay was the only aluminum mag I used. I'm just finding this info, so I had to throw down on an 8 pack form botach of the standard version in tan. I just dropped a lot of money before this amd wasn't prepared, otherwise I'd buy more.
