The KAC Micro 300M and 600M were introduced at SHOT earlier this year.  From what I can tell, the Micro 300M and 600M have the same housing (previoius 300M and 600M were different), they're shorter and even lower than before.

Got my new 600M from Wes at MSTN, who had already posted some excellent pictures, here are some more.

Top view of old 600M.  This 600M sight was bought new, already there's some scuff marks from the sight post (steel) resting/banging against the aluminum housing.

Top view of new 600M.  The housing appears to be steel, maybe I'm wrong.  The old 300M and 600M have a stainless steel thread liner inside the screw holes, the new 600M does not.

More perspective of sizes

I don't think I can move an ACOG further back.  Though the housing of the new sight is smaller and shorter, there's just no room to be gained, I'll take some ACOG with the new 600M pics later

The new micro sights do not yield more usable space on the upper receiver, as mentioned.  The originals only take up one rail space as it is, and the micro does as well.  The micro 600M exposes a little bit of the top rail, (right behind the T2 groove) but the slight reduction in length isn't usable.

Not surprisingly, the LaRue mount occupies the same position regardless of BUIS used.

I'm sure you guys already know this, the threaded holes in KAC RAS (in this case, LMT MRP) are the same specs as those found on the bottom of cameras for tripods, I finally got to use one of them

I understand the new sights are less expensive, as well - that's unusual!
