If I get this sight, will I need to use a riser with it? I will be using a standard height upper reciever. I haven't seen one mounted on an AR yet and Eotech's site only shows them on a bow and bolt gun. I know it is rail ready, but most of the older Eotechs I have seen were mounted on a riser. Any help would be appreciated.

No you don't need a riser
the point is a eotech with no riser is a perfect co witness with most BUIS If you want a 1/3 co witness you need the riser personal preference. |
