My 2nd gen MBUS isn't fitting with this rail system.  Any recommendations on a cost effective front and rear BUIS?

Thanks!

YHM or Magpul PRO.  I also like the GG&G rear flip ups.

I remember that.  He really wanted to keep his MBUS.

Troy looks good on it. If you can find an older one...

Edit: MBUS Pro should fit pretty good too though if you can find them in stock without a stupid long shipping time.

I had same issue.  I did the mbus hack job and it works but not as well as another brand.  Troy or gg&g or arms buis work just fine with casv.  Ymmv

Do I have to have the Vltor front flip up sight?  It looks like those (2) holes in the front are designed for the proprietary front VLTOR sight...

You can either go with the proprietary sight, attach a standard front sight to the gas block if it has a rail, or get the CASV-S, which moves the rail down to the same plane as your rear sight.  The third option is no longer in production, but you can still find used ones.

If you're using a front sight tower, there's a small rail section that fits those 2 holes.

I have the KAC on mine.  Plenty of room for it.
