I was just wondering how you all choose to mount your weapon light? Show the different mounts, lights and positions. I currently have a dd offset mount with a Blackhawk light and a grippod on a S.I.R M4.

I am partial to offset mounts:

Keeps the torch out of the way until I need it, and when I do need it, it's in the perfect spot for thumb activation.

I do the same thing on my shotgun:

I go left side toggle with my right hand on my X300's (I'm a lefty) and and right side thumb forward on my push buttons like the 6PX. Integrated pressure switch's on my shot guns and DG switch on my handguns.........

This is how I mounted mine, out of the way, but within easy thumb reach when I need to activate it - I am left handed.

I mount mine on the weak side to operate with my thumb in line with the bore.

Run all my lights the same way..I can activate the push button both weapon or support side if need be. I do have a Surefire SR07 pressure pad on my MK18 set up though but, that's the only one set up that way.

0000hrs TLR-1 in front of MBUSv1.  RVG mounted close enough to actuate the TLR-1 either strong side or support side.  MBUS also ambidextrous activated.

One of my spare Surefire G2s that was laying around in a one inch scope mount on a piece of offset rail on the right side.  Vertical grip on the bottom so my thumb hits the tailcap just right.

I used to use a tape switch but got tired of the wire so got rid of it and went back to the normal tailcap.
