I didn't see Umbrella Corporation Weapons Research Group section here on ARFCOM, so I'm posting here. Looks like I have a new lower to build up!    Looking forward to mating this up to my Seekins upper with Diamondhead rail! |

no they had a run last year i missed it by a month... they just getting up on there feet it will be awhile

As said above they do exist, a limited number of them had been initially produced and sold through another forum only.
I happened to be lucky enough to get one. Very well made lower. Not sure who made the lowers on that first limited run but I believe now they are being made by Mega Arms. Suprised no one has said it yet, but yes they have the rights to the name, logo, etc. so there is no conflict to date with it being Resident Evil inspired. (from what was posted elsewhere) ETA: They do have a pistol grip as well out, not sure if Magpul actually makes them but they did work with Magpul a while back in design per what I have read. See the link for the article I read with a comparison photo next to a Magpul. I own one
 , got one of the first ten serial numbers. I put a Stag arms LPK in as well as a Geissel SSA-E trigger group. Then I attached the lower to a DSA fluted upper that I had previously purchased and man am I happy!I couldn't say anything negative about the Umbrella Lower, I looked for a reason after it came to validate any concerns about the quality but I couldn't. If are considering buying I recommend picking one up.

I signed up for an email alert along time ago from their site. I can't remember what day they were sold but they didn't last long. They post a lot of info on Facebook also.
