I am a former USMC 2111...when in the Corps I had a Kennedy Machinists Tool Chest Issued to me to store all my Armorers tools it was an 8 Drawer unit as I remember much like this...

I would be interested in seeing how others store their armorers tools today...I am currently using my office desk as both computer desk and as an armorers desk with the three drawers to the right holding all my tools...I've also looked at one of these as a much less expensive alternative...

Show me how your doing it...

I have a Craftsman 8 drawer much like the one on top.  I also have a small portable tool box and portable vise that I take to the range with me or if someone wants to build an AR at their place.

This is basically what I have.  It sucks, always digging to the bottom for tools.  Need to get something sturdy w/ drawers.

I use a UPS box with randomly assorted punches, hammers, and misc AR tools. Fail I know.

Harbor Freight!  I used to have that workbench but moved and it didn't withstand the move.  It was a good bench!

Yeah for around a 100$ you cant beat it and it has a light and a power strip flushed in on the side! only thing I modified was I tossed the flimsy drawer bottoms and cut two pieces of 1/2" MDF and carpeted them then screwed them in made it a lot more sturdy!

I use this one for my mechanics tools.  You 2 can save $900 on a roll  away if you spend $500 in materials and about $5k in labor making it yourself.
