Copes distributing is selling a NSP-3 night vision scope. What does this fit?

Would it work on my PSL or my Wasr10?

Did a little searching and I havent found much info on this set up. I'm not looking to do much night shooting. Just something to play with.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

It is old Russian 1st generation NVD. The image quality is not very good, but the sight is usable for recreational stuff. Does require some starlight to function, but compared to other 1st gen stuff the sensitivity is very good also as the tube actually three 1st gen image intensifier tubes installed in line. Very heavy compared to modern stuff, but I think it is a good for the money if you don't mind the bulk.

Image on the link you provided says NSP-2, so make sure it is NSP-3 not NSP-2 which is even earlier scope.

I'd check on Gunbroker and find the 1PN34 (NSPU) scopes that are there, two of them available I think. For about the same price as Copes is listing the NSP2 you can get one of the pretty common Finish NSPU's which have been modified to take 4 AA batteries. I have one that I picked up from a member on another forum several years ago and have had a lot of fun with it. The NSPU is also generation 1 but good out to 300-400 yards and can be shot during the day if you keep the lense filter on. Very fun scope.

Should fit your WASR ok but for the PSL there can be variances in rail spec, so just know that 'probably fit' is the best way to describe these things. I prefer the NSPU over things like the NSP-2 mainly because of ease of use. Other people have already made them AA compatible so basically they are plug and play, you don't have to worry about old combloc wet cells or funky chargers etc. In practice that means you'll actually get out and use the scope rather than just take photo's of it.

Here's an NSP-2 which as mentioned looks like what Copes has:

NSP-3

Here's the NSPU:
