I'm looking for a light mount option for a krebs ak103k. I don't really want a rail system if their is an easier way to attach a surefire to my ak. If the rail is the only option, what rail system should i go with. Price is not an issue when i'm looking for quality. Thanks

I've been really happy with the DBMG barrel mount. Solid and well made, I'm glad I have one.

Also for railed HG's I'm still a big fan of the polymer LHV47 lower. Not a US made HG so watch your parts count but it's tough and seems to be heat resistant even though there's no heat shield.

TX-Zen, what optic are you using in the 1st and 3rd rifle pics?

PK01-VS

Hyper rare unfortunately, only two in the US. They didn't make it past a trial production batch, still waiting on a military order last I heard.

You can achieve the same height with the RS AK mount and a PK23 or 30mm aimpoint type tube optic. Also PK01V in the older lower mount

I just ordered one of thesehttp://www.botachtactical.com/kzofm.html so I could mount a flashlight on my Ultimak where it won't be in the way of optics.
