Found some time to work on my AKSU pistol. Got a couple of Justinmcmillion's M4 receiver extension adapters for 4.5 side folders. Also got the new Sig SBX arm brace. Ripped out a gen 1 KAK super buffer tube from my AR.

Brace is very comfortable and the KAK tube offered just the right amount of length. No need to pin to the adapter. Screws on, no plates, no castle nuts. The rear feels like it matches the rest of the gun with an all-black furniture.

Only thing I can think of to add would be a bulgy handguard with flashlight, perhaps a new grip, and some kind of optic (Ultimak maybe). And paint.

That is awesome good work.

Edit to add that I had a slr 106fr and mak90 with ultimak and a bushnell trs 25 the set up worked wonderfully and the bushnell held up great to multiple 75 round drum bump/rapid fire.

I've had a trs25 for a few years now on an ultimak and never had an issue with it. Good little red dot for the $

How do you keep it folded?  I know the latch is not in the pictures, but even if you do, is there something in the brace to lock on to it?
