Cool - quite Ubertactical. What's the muzzle device? Changes the attitude of the entire weapon.

The Muzzle Device is a Primary Weapons System FSC-47

Thanks for the comment.  I just got the light and mount yesterday.  I am not 100% sure if I am going to keep it setup like this.  I would like the light mounted farther forward, but that would mean cutting down the grenade sight to uncover some more usable rail...

Ready to join the game.  Just got my Yugo the other day.  Don't know much about her, yet.  Haven't had time to do my research.  Just got a good deal and thought she looked good and now she looks even better.  Plan to Ultimak her for a micro dot fitting and possibly a green SAW grip.

bobapunk,

What brand/model sling do you have mounted on your M70, and how do you like it?

It is a Vickers Padded Sling with an emergency release.  This one has the metal adjustment buckle.  Yes, I like it, could go with the non-padded, the AK isn't all that heavy.

I just realized that I never posted my UF here for posterity!

Here she is... I have since replaced the Century grip with an original...

Here it was.....

Here it is now....

Here is my modest Yugoslav collection.  The M70 came from Century with the black plastic handguard, I fixed that.  Hopefully no one is too offended by the US Palm grip.. :)

I wasn't really intending to start a Yugo collection, but they are really nicely made guns.  The M70 is very interesting even when compared to a brand new Russian AK (Arsenal, LV).  I wouldn't mind adding an M72 to my safe at some point.

Here is my Yugo with latest update.
I am thinking to sell it to buy the Mossberg 930 SPX semi-auto shotgun. Should I sell it?

this is my M70. Changed the wood hand guard to urethane. Ultimak top rail, primary arms red dot, PWS muzzle break, tapco trigger  and para cord cheek rest.

My genuine M70AB2.

Made in 1988... And was stocked in a box waiting me !

I buyed it in Luxembourg and it was still Full auto. It has to be modified in semi auto to be legally owned.

I paid 640USD for it. It's REALLY cheap here for that.

The box of TULA surplus (1400 rounds) was paid 200USD. Pretty cheap !

The cleaning rod is missing but i bought one on the web.

My non-original M70ab1. 3000+ rounds of stinky goodness so far. I know many purists dislike add-ons, but I use my rifle a lot and like the modifications I've made.

MagPul AK Grip, Damage Industries Comp/Brake, IW Designs handguards (with some 'tung oil), and some cheap Tapco 'slabside' mag I got from MAA for $6/each..

This would be 2 Yugo BHO mags, 3 Romanian mags, 5 Tapco mags (1 reg and 4 'slab')..  Should hold me for abit..

I haven't taken her to the range yet, but she is silky smooth and tight in all the right places.

http://www.speedmph.com/AK/AK1.JPG

Nothing but sand paper, elbow grease, and wood oil.  Started with 320, finished with 1000 grit.

Very nice. Did it come with the wood?

That is the stock wood it came with, just sanded and oiled. I am very pleased with how it came out and decided against using any stain as the natural color is very nice.  Thanks

Just picked this up yesterday at the funshow. It's a Mitchell M90, same gun as in the OP. It's a great example of a shooter quality gun. Can't wait to get it to the range and give her hell....

Haven't had any kind of AK in quite some time,  I finally picked up this N-PAP about a month ago. So far very happy with it.

Guess I can't post pics yet ?

My new low round count M70AB2 Yugo underfolder. I switched the Hogue grip out for an authentic Yugo grip and added an authentic Serbian mag. The bayo is Bulgarian so it will have to sit aside for another day.
