Anybody else get to play with a Micro Draco yet?

Damn thing should be a flame thrower.

Yup...tested it out yesterday with the SB47 stabilizing brace.  Worked flawlessly and was amazed at how precise it was!  Pictures to follow...

I handled one extensively today, no shooting it. It's so obnoxious I want it.

It is absolutely obnoxious...but simply awesome!  We had people from the far end of a 30 lane range coming down to see what was making all the ruckus!  I was super please with accuracy at 50 yards.  3 inch groups were consistently 2 to 2.5 inches using cheap ammo.

EDIT:  What I meant to say that groups were sub 3 inches consistently!!  I need to re-read what I write.

Where is everyone getting these from? I have not yet seen them for sale from any of the larger sellers?

That pic looks like an even shorther barrel AKM Draco type pistol with the rear sight on the back of the dust cover and some type of finger stop or sling attachment point in front. I do not think it is the Micro Draco. I could be wrong because I have not handled one yet, but the pics look like different pistols.

Now why don't they make the "arm brace" fold to the side for a compact storage and packing solution for the sporting out doorsman ?

I just got off the phone with the sales manager at Century- Michelle. She says they have some (very limited) Micros available and that if you go through an FFL you can get them directly from Century. Call her 800-527-1252

I'm curious what kind of fps they get.
The lack of a handguard and integrated gas tube/FSB is pretty off-putting to me.

Wait, no, I was thinking of some of the other "micro dracos" out there that were just custom builds. I wonder why there's such sparse information out there.

If I remember correctly the MSRP is $869. I managed to score mine at a discount but I would not expect that to happen very often. century has told me that far less of these will be available then the mini. although they would not give me an exact number they did say that it would be less than 500 that are available and that they had no plans in the future to import more. They said that these were very difficult to get. I was also told that these were expected to sell out today. lastly they said that they put a limit on how many each dealer could order.

It is funny amusing. I am even less interested in these than the mini Draco. I do not want a mini Draco, Nor do I want one of these. I love Krinks, But these? It is amusing to watch all the hoopla on the boards though.

I just found the thread I started 2.5 years ago when I first heard the rumor about a Draco Micro:

Yep, now they are $699 with a Romanian drum and two 30 round mags.

One of you that owns one needs to fabricate a front handguard for it.

The drum mag that came with mine is Romanian.

I have a bolt on handguard retainer on the way (it should arrive tomorrow) and I am working on a handguard.

link to a bolt on HG retainer? I'm slightly annoyed that these ship with no lower HG.

Is the flash suppressor tacked in place or is it easy to remove?

Does this have an underfolder rear trunion?

Yeah, I'm curious to know this as well.  At $699 (with a drum and two mags) it's a bit higher than I'd like, but not totally, laughably over-priced.

call them on the phone to place your order.   they will send the firearm to your ffl dealer and even call the dealer to get the ffl if not already on file.

I'll let you know when mine gets here.

We need to get Manticore in this thread to make us some handguards. I'll probably fabricate some until someone figures out a better mouse trap for it.

Cool, but I want wood handguards only.  I don't care for polymer or rails.

The Mini hotdog bun attaches in back into the bottom front of the receiver exactly like a regular handguard. In front it has a hole in the bottom for a screw to attach to a hole in the bottom of the fsb. The Micro has the same hole and a Mini handguard will work, it just needs to be cut down.
