So which ever one i get will be a SBR once the paper work is approved.

Kinda leaning towards the mini as i like the idea of fitting this in a small bag once i get a folding stock. Any reason i should go with the draco instead?

I prefer the mini to the Draco, however it seems louder.

Some people find the mini to be more finicky. I'd still go mini though or maybe m92.

I've always said if you're going to make a short barreled rifle, it may as well be SHORT.

But you'll probably end up doing both eventually anyway. My mini was my first SBR - a dozen more later and it's not one I regret.

I have both as SBR's.  Havn't done the Micro yet.  I kinda like the mini draco better but its def louder...

I went full sized draco so that I could take advantage a number of handguard options. No regrets.

The mini is perfect. Every time I shoot it, I fall more in love.

The micro is too small IMO. It looks goofy.

Ahhhhh, LonghunterCO........your Draco was the inspiration for getting my SBR. I love that pic for some reason. I keep going back and forth between the same furniture and a Zhukov stock and Poly HG's on mine.

Think I have settled on a mini and will get some kind of liner comp for it. Will post up some pics once I pick one up.

Went with a pair of the standard Dracos myself. One will get a fixed stock rear trunnion and be dressed up in Russian plum. Same seller has another batch of plum sets for sale that include the mustard sling and no pistol grip. Standard AKM furniture compatibility was a big factor in why I chose the bigger Draco. That and long-assed arms.

Beautiful... this.

I made mine an underfolder and love it but love the historical appropriateness of this one ^^^

well done.

I like the full size... it is plenty compact.  I trust it more than i do the mini and it can use standard handguards.  My stamp has cleared so I'm just waiting to get it back from JBI... hopefully within a month.  I also don't think the mini was ever an military issued weapon while the full size was.  Don't take that as gospel... someone correct me if i'm wrong because I read that somewhere.

I'm going to regret not being able to afford picking up a mini Draco now.

They're still in stock at Bud's. They have a layaway program, should be about $100 down to reserve it and 90 days to pay it off?

Draco SBR with 20 round mags is the perfect size.  YMMV!

I agree, from a "handy" standpoint the 20's are awesome. However, I am somewhat partial to the semi-ridiculous 40-rounder magazines, if only because it makes the Draco look a bit more SBR-ish, if you let your eyes assume it's a standard 30 round magazine.

Lets not forget the full-ridiculous 75-rounder magazines

Go short.  Mini.

standard Draco seems barely shorter than a standard underfolder, since I already had an underfolder, it was mini for me.  However, it does seem more finnicky.  With an SDN6 installed, some of my mags failed to perform although they ran great on regular 16" guns.  Turns out the magazines had some dents and/or weak springs and couldnt keep up.

I had both sold the regular draco and kept the mini.  SBR'd it and have never regretted it for an instant.
