Looking to get one of these guns. I was initially looking at the G36 because I was worried that the G30 was to wide and too heavy with 10 +1 rnds in it, but the G30 fits better in my hand. Does anyone have any CC experience with either one?

Thanks, Bill

I'm looking into possibly picking up a Glock 30 as my carry rig. Been reading reviews and stuff online.

Heres one from THR

I've owned and carried both. The G30 was one of my favorite handguns. I only sold it because I started carrying AIWB and it was way too fat of a gun to conceal in that position. The G36 is an excellent handgun for AIWB because it's thinner than a G26 and same size as a G19. I traded the G36 in for a S&W 340 J frame that I use as a duty BUG and and now carry my issued P2000 off duty. I would buy the G30 again if I was going to carry @ 4:00.

I've owned two G30s and am awaiting delivery of a G36.  For me the G30 was just too fat to conceal.  We'll see how it goes with the G36...

I carry a 36, and have owned a 30. The 36 is nearly identical in size to the 19, and conceals well. For those who complain about 6+1 for ammo, carry a spare mag or two...

I owned a 36 for a brief period.  It was very easy to conceal.

I own a 30, my dad has a 36. The 30 is a big chunky but with a good IWB holster, it isn’t too bad. I’ve carried mine quite a bit in an MTAC. The 36 is definitely thinner. Depends some on your body type and how you dress. If you wear looser fitting clothing, the 30 shouldn’t be a problem at all.

I just got done shooting both. What nice pistols. Friggin pocket freight trains... I must say that after feeling the weight of a fully loaded G30 I think it is a bit too heavy for CC. I think Ill stick with the G36

I have a G26 and a G30SF and i take the G30SF 95% of the time. I use it with a comp-tac and it conceals very easy.

I carry a 30SF often in a Glock Sportsman holster. It disappears under a t-shirt or untucked button down.

G 30 is good to go.  Get a good holster and carry belt.

I have no problem carrying a G30 AIWB.  I am 6'-1" 175 lbs.  It is thicker than a few others, but proper belt and attire is all that is needed to carry it effectively.

Carry a 30 everyday in a Crossbreed Supertuck on a Crossbreed belt. I'm 5'8 175 no problems so far.
