Took the industry long enough.
7 flush, 9 or 12rd with out extensions.
finally.

I've never gotten any of these clear mags, I'm assuming good to go?
We've got a G19 and a G43, always stuck with Glock brand mags.

I ordered 2 of the G43 mags as soon as they went on sale. I got a tracking number on Monday but they haven't moved.  It still says pre shipment. Hoping I get them soon so I can report back.

I don't think the thread has left page 1 since it was posted.

I have 15, 17, and 33 round mags from them. They have all been flawless.

I have a couple 31? round Glock mags from them and a pair of the coupling AR mags from them and I like them all.  I need to get some more of the AR mags.

I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet. I had some difficulty getting 7 rounds in the 7 round magazines, although I was able to do so with some persuasion. The spring didn't seem to want to compress evenly but dry function tests seem good to go once I finally got them loaded to capacity. They do not fit 100% flush, which is kind of disappointing from an aesthetic stand point. Obviously no biggie, as long as they end up being reliable.

With that being said, ETS is suppose to have amazing customer service. I don't regret my purchase. I'm sure they would make any issues right.

Just got them today, same experience here with the 7 and 12 round mag haven't gotten to shoot either yet but have plenty other of ets mags(26/19/18) that have ran without issue.

As stated above I hear they have great CS and will get taken care of if it ends up being a long term problem.

After the initial reviews are out, I plan to snag some g43 12s and G42 9s. Wife carries a 42 primarily, the 9 rounders would be great for her to keep in her maxpedition pouch she keeps in the car.

My 3, 7 round G43 mags showed up today.

Ditto what the others say about difficulty loading the 7th round.
A little difficult to lock in when full, and initially won't chamber a round from a closed slide.
They do chamber from slide lock though.
Drop free nicely and lock the slide when empty.

Won't get to try them until at least Tuesday though.
Hoping they will soften up a little after sitting loaded for a few days.

I can say for a fact that I have seldom run across the kind of excellent customer service I received from ETS over the 31 round mags.
Made me a return customer.

I have 22 round 9mm mags from ETS and they seemed to break in after I cycled them 3-4 times

Got my 7rd mags today and noticed the gap that someone else mentioned but its not that bad. Initial insertion there was some resistance but after some playing around with inserting and releasing the mag it goes in smoothly now and releases quickly.

Pic of the gap:

Then I wanted to experiment and install a Taran Tactical +2 basedpad to give me a hypothetical 9rd capacity.

Pic of the spring from the TT (top) and ETS (bottom):

I tried two tests, one with the TT spring and one with the ETS Spring:

TT - was hard to load the mag , but got 8 rds easily. The 9th was not going to go in

ETS - was easier to load, but once again stuck at 8rds. The 8th rd was harder with this test. The 9th rd was not possible.

Here is the look with the mag in the gun:

Installation was easy and did not have to remove the tabs on the side to install and remove. Unfortunately didnt have a +1 to test or extra +3.

I didnt get in to other Hyve +2 to compare but I will do the same test when I get them hopefully.

I'm so upset at myself for missing the original announcement and discount.

Just laid off so can't spend where I don't get a deal.

Here's to Black Friday!

Kind of on the fence about these. I'd like the extra round for CCW, but I've had function issues with their G19 mags in cold weather :(

Was able to load all 3 of my seven round mags and fire them, 3 times each.
Functioned fine with brass and steel cased ammo.
Locked the slide when empty.

Still a little hard to get the 7th round in, but getting easier.

Overall, very pleased.

I'm curious if the 7-rounders will work with MagGuts. I'm assuming probably not, but it would be awesome if they did. I carry two OEM mags with my 42 that have MagGuts +1s in them, and they have been excellent. 8 rounds in a flush fitting mag sounds impossible though, and I'm assuming ETS is already using a MagGuts-like follower to make that extra round of capacity happen.

Was able to make it to the range today put about 100 rounds between the 7 and 12 round mag steel and brass no failures at all and became easier to seat and load.
