There is a pic I have seen, I thought I downlaoded it but I can't find it at all.  It was like a glock pistol part diagram poster w/ exploded view & all the mfgr recommended lube points were in a certain color.

Do you use light oil, heavy oil, or grease?

Depends on your beliefs. I, for one, use CLP, just because it's what I generally have around. What's that, a light oil? Occasionally I have used Militec-1 or Brownells, and sometimes I use the same light grease as the headset of my mountain bike gets, just because it's closer to me than the other stuff at the time.

They all work, and on a Glock, I really can't tell the difference in terms of wear, performance, or anything else.

The only firm and fast rule is do not overlube a Glock.

I think my manual said only the 5 points on the frame.  The illustration also says barrel and slide??

On all my polymer pistols I do the outside of the barrel, and the slide contact points on the frame. It seems to work well.

I oil everything.  I have had no problems oiling everything so I continue to do it.  People have said don't oil the firing pin.  I do it and it works fine.
