No.  You can send it back to Kimber for custom shop work and refinish... or do as I and others have, add skateboard deck tape to the front strap... I prefer it over my TLE II with factory checkering.

BTW, not trying to sound like a dick, but this is a pic thread, please ask questions in the forum instead of here.

Finest pistol I've owned, Kimber Warrior II. The original grips look bad ass, but I got nasty blisters consistently on my hands.  What a pussy. Put a new trigger and rosewood on her.
Proper.

New to me Kimber Warrior II

Mods:

-Strider Gunner Grips (Brown)
-10-8 Performance Grips screws and bushing.

Still need to break it in and fire 1000+ rounds to make it duty ready. Trying out Powermags and Wilson 47D's.

Runs great. One of the best 1911's out there in my opinion!

I picked mine up thursday and have yet to shoot it. Hope it runs like my other kimbers. I had originally wanted the regular warrior but now i guess i can color coordinate my setups.

I will post some of my Warrior once I get it paid off.....I  found a very lightly used black Warrior....still trying to figure out which VZ Grips are going on it....leaning towards Dirty Olive Frags (slim of course)....to mag well or not to mag well?

lol, I'm actually in the exact same boat. Just bought a new Warrior for $900 yesterday, my first 1911. Any suggestions for stuff to do with it would be welcome.

Question: Are those OE looking grips aftermarket or was elbow grease involved to make them look that way? I like the color contrast and would like to keep the grips my warrior will be coming with.

Bone Stock.

Will eventually add a magwell and possibly change the grips.

Here is the new Desert Warrior.  First time to the range.  50 rounds.  Flawless.  This gun is tight like a custom.  Accurate.

Am I the only person who installed an arched mainspring housing on my Desert Warrior? And I saw only one magazine well funnel. A worthwhile addition for sure.
