This is the 686 that I "borrowed" from my dad. It's his old duty weapon. ( I don't think he will be getting it back any time soon)

I tried to take a decent picture of mine with a cell phone camera but the pictures were blurry so I borrowed one from S&W's website. Edited with not as nice looking but a real photo this time.

Picked this up yesterday to possibly retire my Seecamp 32 for pocket carry.

Right now my one and only wheelgun. Pricey but very light and powerful.

I hope I don't lose this in a boating accident.

Triggerfish, you've got a few nice ones...

Here's my Pre-27 3.5 - horrible picture, and the finish has seen better days.  It's what happens when it's carried on the mean streets of Chicago for 10+ years...

I've been contemplating having it re-blued...

ETA: Page 4 is mine!! Sorry, first time I've been the first on a new page, gimme a break...

Great looking revo 41, love those grips.  I have a 27-2 former Utah Highway Patrol gun from 1966 that had less than 50% finish and was pretty rough internally.  I sent it back to S&W PC for re-furb.  With a new high-polish reblue and complete functional re-build, I was only chargerd $240 - including insured/shipping back to me.  Deal of the century, IMHO.  Will post after pix when it gets back in Feb.

This is before I cleaned the crap out of it.  Webley Mark IV.  Not exactly a bearstopper but kind of a neat old pistol.  Any ideas on how I could find out the age?

Thanks!  I'd love to see the after picture, I am really thinking about doing the same to this one.  However, the insides are in excellent condition, just want the master high-polish blue.  It needs a new set of sights, they are both dinged up (purely cosmetic though).  My FIL handed it down to me as a kind of wedding present.  He had tried to re-blue the side plate, but it didn't turn out well and in the process he marred up the screws.

My next set of grips will be these from Eagle Grips.  The've done a Kimber SGM in buffalo horn before and are true craftsmen.

My one and only S&W. A 65-5 that the previous owner made DAO. Nice gun but I recently traded it. Not really a S&W guy...on the other hand I do love them Ruger DA revolvers.

I have three stainless Redhawks. One 7.5" with a 2X Leupold scope that I use for hunting here in Texas.
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f43/mike_seale/RugerRedhawk41mag7Small.jpg

and two 5.5"...only one in 5.5". I shortened the other to 4" for a field carry gun.
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f43/mike_seale/HPIM0734.jpg

I also have two Ruger SP-101's in .357mag. One 2" & one 3". Great little compact carry weapons.
Here they are with two of the three Redhawks.

Here are a few more:

The first is a NM Single Six, with the .22LR and .22 Mag cylinders.  I am a sucker for Ruger .22's, and could not pass this one up when I saw it.

This is an old model SUper Bearcat from the early 70's.  I found this in a pawn shop, and was surprised to see it was in such good condition.  Round count is very low, and the gun shoots extremely well.

Now this is my best find of the year, a 4" Colt Commando .38 Special.  I also picked this gun up from a pawn shop, and haven't found out everything about its history yet.  What I do know is it was manufactured between 1942 and 1943.  Some of these guns saw combat, but I haven't been able to verify whether this one made it overseas or not.  I do know some serail numbers close in range went to the NYCPD in the '40s, but I am not sure about this one.
