New holster. I was going to use this for SASS, but that long barrel is a wee bit of a draw. However, it still looks great and I don't regret a penny. Guy named Craig C on another forum made it for a very good price. Gun is an Uberti New Model Army clone with a Howell conversion cylinder in 45 Colt. She shoots like a laser.

Kimber K6xs I picked up a few weeks ago. I have several hundred rounds through it, and have been quite impressed so far.

Greetings revolver people, haven't had too much experience with revolvers but I do know some things about them!

Picked up this 'Saturday Night Special' esque snubnose from a friend of mine; he sold it to fund some repairs for his cars. Has it's quirks such as the action locking up solid sometimes when shooting, but it feels good in the hand and comfortable to shoot!

F.I.E. "Standard" 38spl. Alloy frame, finish is alright; in that attached image on the barrel there is some scratch but it's whatever, single-action and double-action feel nice, not a swing-out cylinder unfortunately so i call it a "Shoot and then get the flip out" type of gun. She loves Lucas Gun Oil for sure!

Will not that I believe the grip is sourced off of another F.I.E. (Maybe a Tiger .38spl model) considering it's lighter in color and a different material maybe. Fits right so maybe it is stock...

Added to the family today. Picked up a S&W 12-3 and a 10-8. From what I could tell they were made in 1979 & 1980, respectively. Both show some good honest wear, and I'm hoping to add my own. Going to try and get out tomorrow to run some rounds through them. Sorry no super fancy glamor pics. I need to find some different grips for the Model 12...the pacs are OK, but I think I'd like something else.

And a group shot of the whole crowd (clockwise from the top: 686-6, 64-8, 10-8, Kimber K6xs, 642-1, & 12-3)

He's extremely knowledgeable about revolvers in general as well. Craig has a website showing off his custom guns and they are amazing.

My score from a local auction today:

Clockwise, from upper left:

6" 66-2 Square butt with target trigger and hammer ($700)

4" 63 with box, paperwork, tools, and spare grips ($800)

3" 10-5 Round butt with target grips ($400) - Sn puts it ca 1964, so the 3" would have been a special order item

4" 64-6 Round butt ($400)

@PatG

Be careful when shopping for Model 12 grips. Until the Model 12-4, they used a slightly thinner frame in the grip area than other K-frames, known as the KA frame. If you install grips from a normal K-frame, you will have a gap towards the top of the grip. The 12-4 started using the normal K-frame.

I've had this Redhawk 15-20 years and finally decided to pimp it up. Weigand mount and a cheap UTG scope (for testing purposes). Hope to get it to the range soon to try it out.

Beautiful blaster. I really wish I had gotten this instead of the stupid V-Comp.
