Still wondering why they're blowing them out.  Just slow movers, or is something new coming? Regardless, worth it at that price.

Crazy deal. Some buyers from the recent past aren’t going to be happy they overpaid.

Pretty sure mine was 499 when I got it. Heck of a deal

Gun industry has a slump right now. Plenty trying to free up some capital. That’s my guess anyway, although Steyr did hint at an optics ready version coming. But nothing official

Recently picked up a used M40A1 used. Anyone know a parts source for things like metal guide rods, springs, ect? Ranger Point Precision no longer makes anything for Styers.

Thanks

@cwm1150

BT Guide Rods for metal guide rods.  Would also recommend his Glide-Rite bushings for a better trigger.

Firing pin springs can be purchased from Steyr's website.  Other springs, you may have to contact Steyr directly.

It’s a A2 but looks like a M length.

Double on that, BT doesn’t get enough credit for all his work on the platform

Looks like the price of barrels on Steyr USA has finally come down substantially.  $225.

That’s good, the old price was just silly, you could actually by the gun for the same price as a barrel.

Not scrolling through seven pages to find a post telling everyone that We The People Holsters makes a variety of holsters to fit Steyr M9-A2, L9-A2, and C9-A2 pistols.

Here's the IWB options:

Now that they bought Steyr, maybe the Czechs will give us a modular pistol like the 320. Although I am sad to see the ownership pass on from the Austrians, I think the last management was an issue. Shoot they weren’t even that popular in Austria l.

Modern Patriot Holsters makes what appears to be very fine holsters for the M9-A2 both IWB and OWB:

Well, no milled slides, but Steyr now lists a dovetail adapter for the specific red dot they sell.  Not sure if it's a common foot print.

ADE also makes a dovetail adapter for Steyr.

Not sure why they say the A2 sights have different dovetail dimensions.  According to Steyr, M, A1, and A2 all appear to take the same sights.
