got some new ammo in.  son put 500 flawless rounds through his platy and i did the same on the p09. no issues.  he likes the handleit grips.

he got straight As this semester and I asked what I he wanted to do. he said go shoot.

some good father/son time.

Years later, it's still my favorite pistol shooter. Got it for $350  several years back, don't think I'll ever sell it. Don't know if I could even get that for it today but zero desire to sell regardless. This thing is a peach and laser accurate. Just a hoot to shoot. 92' tranny I got on a surplus sale, but still looks new.

Cajunized P01 that I just got back from primary machine a couple weeks ago.  I have 300rounds through it so far with the optic. At the moment I am definitely slower off the draw, but faster and more accurate overall with shot strings beyond 7 yards.

My biggest issue is that I have a well practiced presentation that puts my irons right in line, now I need to present looking about 1/2-3/4” over the top of the sights to be in line with the dot.

DWX (CZ S2 Grip with 1911 trigger with P09 upper half shaped to look like a 1911).

Very hard to get a good pic of the grips, and this pic makes them seem more red and brighter than they are in real life. That said, I’m extremely pleased. Grips were made by LSgrips.com

There is a twist! It's got the alloy frame as part of a Israeli Security Agency contract with CZ in the early 2000's.

Trigger is beautifully broken in.

Mines the opposite.  Steel frame decocker compact, also not a regular production item but were made at the request of somebody.

@Finslayer83 if you or anyone else is looking for one of those alloy/safety compacts for sale here is one (not affiliated with the seller)

Not cheap but I know they don't come up that often

@jafrush

There’s a few folks who’ve asked me about the variant.

Hope they see it, +/- $60 more than I paid iirc and looked for a long time.

Looking at picking up a shadow 2 and thinking about optics. Are the frame mount optic mounts still popular or obsolete with the popularity of slide mount optics? Are they superior to the slide mount?Im assuming you just drill and tap the frame to mount them?

Manufactured in 2013. I have had it three years. Added CZ rubber grips and lanyard ring mainspring cap, CGW stainless guide rod, 85 trigger, trigger pin and firing pin retaining pin, CZC trigger return spring and some Night Fision sights.
