Looking for a light for the FNX 45, it is the house gun, but will become CCW when hiking and snowshoeing or with a big jacket ( i am a fat kid full of shame...and doughnuts) but for the most part it is the house gun. I do not need a laser but something affordable and functional, what are you fellows running on yours?

Thanks in advance

Muzzle Flash??? Just kidding! Streamlight's are usually good buys. You can pick the TLR's up for $99 these days. I've got a half a dozen of them and they perform just about up to par with Surefire's indoors and around the house for your purposes.

There should be no question, Surefire X300U....

I WILL NEVER buy another weapon light...except more surefires...look for some reviews online, comparing, ive compared the Surefire against a TLR-1 and Insight wx-150....there was no question after....yes the two others will work, but....its like comparing a ford taurus to a BMW or Mercedes, theyll all get you from point A-B...but some are just built better, and perform better than others....Fact.

Are there any clearance issues with a Silencerco Osprey mounted and the X300U?  Is there an adapter or adjustment for more clearance?

This I am not sure of, but im sure you could either call FN, or, head on over to "fnforum(dot)net" and im sure someone will know if you ask, when I was looking into buying an FN they were very helpful and prompt, seem to get more traffic over there than here for specific FN questions, since thats all its for, however someone here might know aswell. .

Just picked up a Surefire x300u seems to be a great light, cant believe how small it is for the light it puts out.If I get a chance I will check to see if there are any clearance issues with the Osprey.
