Does anyone have an experience with these Inland M37 Ithaca Trench Gun Reproductions?

I've always wanted these, although the $1,000 price is a little high.

And who doesn't want an 18" bayonet?

I have sold several.  They are very well built guns.  I must admit I did attach a bayonet and run around the shop with one.

No direct experience, but that looks awesome!

Added to medium priority list.

I always liked the bottom discharge on the Ithaca.  Good to see that someone revived it.  I'd want a 21" legal barrel with rifle sights, and extended mag, though, rather than a repro.

I handled one at their shop on the row at Camp Perry.  Sexy as hell.

I have been watching for a reasonably priced Ithaca 37 riot gun for years, preferably with the extended magazine.

No Bueno so far.

Do they slam fire? Did they always have that shitty looking stock to receiver fit?

Ithaca did away with the slam fire feature decades ago.  I'd be stunned if these do it.

According to several article I read, the shotgun will not include the slam fire function.

However, they will produce a trigger group that can be added after purchase to allow for slam fire.

They are supposedly also to be producing a reproduction bayonet.

Ithacas have never been reasonably priced.  Probably why the company is on it's third (fourth?) ownership.

A $100-$300 used 37 and a $175 East Taylor LLC repro shroud will give you the same thing for less, and if you get an older one it will slam fire...

They look awesome, I'm very tempted to buy one, just having a hard time with the price tag. $1,249 MSRP for a Model 37 with a heatshield?!

Gotta love the M37s.

No experience with the Inland product, but you might be able to find a real Ithaca M37 Trench Gun for a similar price.

The slam-fire "feature" can be fun a time or two, but pretty much useless trick and a significant safety concern.

Great replica Trench!

Is that an M5 Bayonet on that lug?  Do M5 bayonets fit on the 1917 bayonet lug or is that truly an Ithaca heat sheild /lug?

Pretty sure the M5 lugged heat shields were an Asian made item. The USGI ones fit M1917 bayonets.
