 The Advanced Dual PVS-14 Bridge Mount from N-Vision Optics allows users to pair two individual PVS-14 night vision monoculars together to form a single binocular night vision goggle. Dual tube night vision systems afford more depth perception to the operator while traversing terrain, negotiating obstacles, and driving. The Advanced Dual PVS-14 Bridge Mount improves upon N-Vision’s standard Dual PVS-14 Adapter by providing a quick detach capability for the individual monoculars. This feature can come in very handy if you have a buddy that needs a monocular. The Advanced Dual PVS-14 Bridge Mount is an aluminum structure that attaches to the monoculars via the threaded insert in their housings. The arms can swing independently, providing interpupilary adjustment. However, the added benefit of this design feature is the ability to lay the goggles out flat against the helmet when in the stowed position. This really cuts down on the material sticking out in front of and on top of the helmet, thus better protecting the goggles and allowing for unimpeded movement. The Advanced Dual PVS-14 Bridge Mount features a dovetail interface for the helmet mount. The best part, it weighs just 4.4 ounces!

I have the original N-vision dual mount, and although it's great, this is a huge improvement. Only 0.9 oz heaver, but much more versatile and functional.
I would really like the ability to fold both PVS-14's flat, something my current mount can't do. |

Will there be different attachment options? This one looks like it only supports screw-in. Do you know if N-Vision is going to offer an upgraded version or arms? If they do, I'd definitely be interested!
Also, I imagine it's only a matter of time before Wilcox comes out with their own offering. Does anyone have any info on that? It seems like, when they do something, it's always pretty impressive. |

It seems like, when they do something, it's always pretty impressive. There are MANY who do not like heavy weight bridge mounts and more importantly shooting a 14 on weapon. The most versatile way to employ a 14 that many talk about here as well is to wear a 14 on your head and let your IR laser do the talking on your gun. As for an upgraded version with detachable arms for weapon mounting is what I think you're referring to, that is a patent issue we're told why they do not do a version like this. Wilcox will be offering their unit in a few months. Myself and Chip have had their per-production patented unit since last November. We're under NDA and cannot talk much about it though. Vic |

Us too for weight distribution which is even better at 4.4 ounces! We were pleasantly surprised at how light they made this one.
