Alright, finally got most the parts for my SBR and time to make it all match. I've never duracoated before and I'm having a hard time deciding what black to use. I originally wanted the combat black to make it real flat but got concerned that it may have a rough to the touch finish which I don't care for.

I got a YHM rail the other day which is a close match to the DoubleStar lower. I realize there is a little gloss on them but I think that is the color I want to aim for. I know pics of blacks are hard to pull off but does anyone have any input? Should I do the matte black or the HK black. I have some HK mags, are they the same as the HK black?

And is there a green that will match magpul OD green very well?

What about doing the suppressor? Will it hold up?

Here is what the rifle looked like right after assembly. I got bored with the rattle can and wanted to set it apart.

And here is what it looks like after a little time with some acetone the other night. I have some OD magpul goodies to go on it but not till its all one color.

I'd be happy with something close to the same black as on my RRA upper/DoubleStar lower

RRA upper...

Any input would be great. I need to get this thing sprayed one color so I'm not so pissed at it. Thanks in advance.
