Was going to say I don't think ARs are classified as a battle rifle.

Well. it didn't take long for the "a battle rifle should fire a full size cartridge" gang to come in and piss all over a perfectly good thread. At least we know who's in charge, though.

The OP did not mean battle rifle in the classic sense as demonstrated by the fact that his "battle rifle" is an AR. I'm thinking it's probably up to them to decide what the theme of the thread is and not the posters that want to argue about the definition of battle rifle. I have no dog in this fight as my "battle rifles" are chambered in 45-70 and 9.3 x 62. I don't even own anything in 5.56 or 7.62 anymore.
Just post your pictures and move on. |

I'm down to a Mini 14 and my Sig P220 thanks to SAFE.
In the past it would have been my M4 clone and a Glock 19. |

Yeah, did not get a lot of sleep the previous night. I tend to be bitchy when that happens. Battle rifles are suppose to be semi/full automatic weapons if I remember correctly. |

Nothing on GB with bids. One 645 sitting with an opening bid at $825 that's not near as nice as yours. Ouch |
