Okay I've searched through the suppressor pic threads and have seen a total of one suppressed 9mm AR, but I couldn't tell much about the weapon by the pic. If anyone has a pic of a suppressed 9mm SBR AR I would appreciate it if you posted it, or directed me to where it's already posted.

here is an old pic of mine.  its got different optics and handguard now, but you get the idea.  Its an integral RRA unit by SRT.  13" OAL.  Lots of them here.

Old photo of mine.  Yeah, the Larue rear sight is on backwards.    I took this right after getting it put back together.

It is a Colt 9mm lower with a Coastal Gun suppressed upper.  I bought it from a member here.  It shoots great.  I think the barrel is 7" and is ported.

Bad pic I know but here's my full auto 9mm SBR with free float tube & suppressor removed.
I call it my lap gun because it's so short.

I just sent my form 1 in for my 9mm build, any good barrel recommendations?
9mm suppressor recommendations? i've been looking at the gemtech multimount and the liberty infinity
When I do buy the barrel will i have to send it out to get re threaded to make sure they are concentric to the bore?   dont mean to steal the thread

Barrels.....ADCO, tros, CMMG, RRA.
Suppressors.....really any noted manufactures 9mm that comes with a fixed mount.  Ive got a Wraith XL and a trident 9 in addition to the integrals by SRT.  Gemtech, AAC......how much you want to spend.

It's a 9 inch barrel with a 7 inch suppressor pined and welded so not a SBR to ATF but still short

Not the best photo but.... Oly Glock K9GL 9mm SBR w. Trident 9 3 lug.  I have since swapped the Trijicon RX30 for a Aimpoint Micro.  I picked the Oly so I could use all of my 33rd Glock mags.

What's your OAL? And details on the upper please.

I'm looking at doing a 9mm SBR project of some kind or another that can eventually share a can with my 92FS. Issue I've got is so many of them end up being nearly as big as my Steyr AUG. Even the Uzi ends up at 25" with the stock unfolded.

I like it - it looks a little front end heavy, but it's not.  For me the balance is good!

The OAL without can is about 19",  The upper is a Spike's Tactical billet 9mm upper with a Spike's Lothar Walther 5" barrel with Gemtech 3 lug mount.  The rail is a Daniel Defense 4.0 Lite rail and the sights are Troys.  The VFG is also Troy and the handstop is a KAC piece.

how do you like the Talon upper

I already have a 10in 6450 and cannot decide how I should set it up for a suppressor. or if I should just pick up the Talon upper

I love it.  Since I already had the multimount and was looking to get a SBR 9mm AR it seemed like the best choice.  No additional mounts needed and runs perfect.

You are using the 12" BAR right?  I'm trying to decide which length and want to know for sure what I am looking at.  Thanks!

I had trouble deciding what length rail to get. I'm planning on a 4.5" barrel also and my suppressor is 8 3/4", so I went with a 9" rail just because I found a really good deal on one. I figure 4" or so of suppressor sticking out was fine.

guessing that's a 10.5 on the left - what is on the right.

my biggest pet peeve lately in picture request threads is the lack of gun descriptions
let's at least give a brief description of what is being pictured

Well I screwed up. I bought a Troy TRX standard battlerail for my suppressed upper assuming the ID would be big enough for my can. WRONG! The suppressor OD is 1.38" and the ID of the rail is 1.37". That's what I get for assuming.

For the record, here's what a suppressed 16 inched 9mm looks like (not too appealing, but damn quiet) :

Here is my 9mm shorty pre-makeover.

It was wearing a 7.5" Spike's barrel and a 7" Troy TRX rail until the makeover.

Now it sports a 5.5" Noveske barrel and a Spike's 9" SAR.

Other specs include:

- DDLES Dedicated Lower

- JARD Adjustable Trigger

- RRA 9mm Upper (I have a Spike's Billet Upper that I've been thinking of putting on there)

- YHM 9mm Wraith QD

It's still a pistol for now. My Form 1 was just returned (today) because of a typo. Once I get that taken care of, I'll be putting an OD MOE stock on it. I have also replaced the Primary Arms MicroDot with an old EOTech 511 I had laying around. I like the EOTech so much on there that I'm thinking about another XPS2-0 for this gun.

Do you have any issues shooting the 16" gun suppressed?  The combination of the long barrel and suppressor cause the gun to cycle so hard, the mag can't keep up and I get a lot of malfunctions.  I had no issues when running a 5.5" barrel and a standard 9mm buffer with the Trident.  Since I put on a 16" barrel, I have to use an AAC rate reducing buffer in an A2 stock.  The rate-reducing CAR buffer from AAC doesn't even do it.

Since moving to MI, using a short barrel isn't an option.

eta: here's what the gun used to look like.

I haven't shot it enough to make a reliability call, but note that I have an A2 stock, and whatever buffer came with it (it's a factory gun).  However, from the limited shooting I've done, it's fine.

VM Hy-Tech.  It uses unmodified Uzi mags.

I believe they were discontinued a couple of years ago, but you see them for sale from time to time.
