THE NEWS DOES APPEAR TO BE GOOD!
Received email last night from Capital Armory- Good Afternoon, The ATF has put in a fix for the suffix problem. We are still having some issues with some forms, but others are going through. One of our regular certifiers is going to reach out to everyone, but if you would like you can also try giving us a call. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, Sandi Called this morning, got through immediately, 5 minutes later eform went through and I had an email from ATF saying my "Submitted, in Process". NOW the waiting game starts. We'll see how quick it goes through. |

I wonder if I do a second supressor if it will be as quick as the first one was. Not that the surefires are in stock, but I'm just curious. I guess I'll find out once they come in stock.

Mine came back yesterday. 5 days including the weekend.
Thanks all for the Info. |

So over the past few weeks I've been keeping an eye on the wait times page from SS and the median wait times for trusts has continued to drop every day and is now at 108. This is the lowest I recall seeing it and it seems to still be trending down. Hopefully this will continue. Compared to previous wait times for trusts, 3 months or less would be very welcome.

Received two emails this morning, one from Capital Armory, one from ATF-
My eform has been approved. 24 hours! Never thought I'd see the time the ATF gave up on slowing down applications. Now on to shipping I suppose. |

This whole “fast approval times” is more stressful than a normal approval times. At least with normal times, I can forget about it and just wait. But now I find myself constantly checking my inbox and spam folder in hopes that I’ll receive the “Your NFA Item has been approved” email.

I’m in the same state currently. At the two week mark, I started getting worried. Now at 4 weeks, I’ve just accepted it again. |

I'm afraid to try for the 4th one, just to be disappointed if they return to normal months long waits. |

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks since I certified my individual form 4, crickets.
|
|

Mine from 3/27 was approved today.

Just bought my first can 3.5 hours ago.
Nothing yet. |

First can purchased 4/8, Individual, SSN, SS kiosk, in stock @ store
Certified 4/12 With AFT 4/15 Still pending Uncommon name, no cadence. Boo. |

Completed forms on 3/19, first application on a newly re-stated trust with changes and additional responsible person. I'm expecting it will go more like normal wait than these super shot individual ones, but we'll see, fingers crossed.

Good for a bunch of you that got yours so quick. I wish it would be known why some are taking longer. I'm at 6 weeks this past Monday. I do have a fairly common first name, and a common last name. I did include my SSN. Would a UPIN help with NFA items? I already have 2 cans and an AOW. You would think that would help the process some. |

I had a 19 hour Form 4 from Scheels last month, and last Friday I bought a suppressor for my girlfriend from the same store for Mother's Day and she still isn't approved. She has an e-file Form 1 pending since April 11th. Her approvals are never as fast as mine, and she has a decent NFA collection already. I feel bad for teasing her.

I bought 2 suppressors in the last 2 weeks, each eform took about 2 days to approve and each total paperwork process from purchase to picking up my new can took 4-5 days total. I used the Silencer Shop kiosk at 2 different FFL/SOT each time, and the process was super easy and obviously fast.

I still haven't received a fast Form 4 approval.
But I just got a 12 day form one trust approval for a SBR. |

My 3rd can I bought at ss may 2, 2024 was shipped a week and a half after I bought it. Eform as individual and certified 5/16/2024. Got the atf email 5/21/2024 picked it up. I have 2 more from 4/2024 eform in single shot trusts I was told by ss they should be approved by 8/2024. might be approved sooner because my approved individual might bump the other 2 cans up the que per my ffl ?

I've got eForm 4s from early November, mid-February, and late March all pending. Trust, 1RP with prior approvals.
I know they talked about speeding up trusts with a new procedure, but has anyone ever heard when that might get rolled out? |

Eform 4 on a trust for .22 rimfire can
Submitted 4/25.........still waiting nearly a month now. Got my last one in 5 months or so. I suppose anything that beats that will be WAY better than the year+ wait times I was experiencing. |
|
|
I'm at 50 days on an eForm 4, Single Shot trust. Still pending.
Median wait today on SS is 103 days for trusts. Lowest I've seen it. |
|
|
I’ve got an individual from 11/27/23 I’m still waiting on. I’ve got a SS trust from 1/15/24 I’m still waiting on. And another SS trust from 4/23/24. I’m definitely not getting the fast treatment.

Eform 4 trust submitted 2/20. Still waiting
