Ditto. I have an M10/45, and am very happy with the GemTech Viper. They make a model for 9mm also. Nice thing about the Viper is it has a locking collar so it doesn't accidentally come unscrewed.

Those big ass threads on the bbl, can you get an adapter so you can use the same can on a 9mm pistol?

Won't matter, you'll want a Lage upper, and you'll be ok 1/2x28 or toss a 3lug on it. The Lage 11k is the way in my opinion. I just ordered the new style grips, excited about that and the sear trip. I don't think he had one of those when I did the internals. So now all Lage other than the upper pin and receiver, and I guess the extended mag release. He needs to do one of those.

Use good mags (such as the Shockwave ZMags) and it becomes very reliable. I'd also recommend upgrading to a Lage hardened sear.
