Can anyone point me in the direction of a press riser like that offered by Dillion? I wasn't sure if theirs would work, and the only other one I've seen is offered by Sinclair, at a price of almost 80 bucks.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm running a Rock Chucker, and will likely be adding a turret press in the near future.

Thanks!

Link to the Sinclair product? For comparison?

I don't really need/want it to be canted. Something like this would work just fine.

A section of 10" I-beam works sweet.

I like the additional height––and I like that now the reloading press is completely portable.

I figured the 50 lbs of steel would stay put by itself, but I find that when full-length sizing brass it wants to lift, but put a tiny C-clamp on the far end and it's rock-solid.

You're set if you need an extra boat anchor.

Will the Dillon fit other presses, or would I need to modify it?

EDIT: It also occurred to me that I could simply have something fabricated locally. May look into that more.

IMHO there is no stronger or more stable "mount" then bolting it directly to your workbench/table/etc.

So my solution is to build your workbench to the height that you wish your press to sit and bolt it directly to your bench.

This is what I did.

This is what I plan to copy and build to set my LnL AP up higher on my bench, you can turn it around either way depending if you want the press to sit back on the bench some or if you want it out flush with the front of the bench, it's made of aluminum plate.

This idea is even better than the I beam!

It definitely does look like a great design, for sure.  But ponder this:

Me:  Hey, bud.  How much for that hunk of I-beam in the scrap pile, there?
Welder:  Gimme five bucks.
Me:  (digging into my mostly empty pockets) Ok.

(LOL)
