Like those that Pete supplies? I have one from him on my AUG. For me it's the only way to have a rear sling point for your 2-point sling. This one looks identical except for their logo.

We have been seeing an increase in AUG sales in our retail store and have had many requests for a way to sling up. We are making one that is great quality for a fair price.

We have not seen those until right now, but a quick assessment makes it look like the weak link in the ones you showed is thinner diameter where the swivel locks in.
How much meat is there once you cut the recess inside for the bearings to lock in?
We made ours to fully support the swivel and have the strength to keep it locked in.

Please tell me how many different ways there is to make an AUG pin?

Because we were asked:
We did not make the socket anti rotation because even if we did the whole pin can rotate in the gun. If we make the socket anti rotation the pin will turn and wear on the guns polymer faster.

If we're talking about what we'd like to see...I'd like to see this concept taken one step further... Have it enclose the the barrel like a quad-rail as much as possible without being much longer than it is, but rather than 1913 rail, make it M-Lok to reduce weight so we only put rail on where we want/need it.

Any way a qd cup can be made for the front swivel on the a3.. One that we can just pop the role pin out insert new cup and pin..wala awesome.

That has the same problem the Vltor pin does. It sticks out a lot farther than it needs to on the socket side. Fix it so the socket sits up against the stock (with enough play to allow it to fit, of course). You could probably take damn near 1/4" out and it would snag a lot less.

Take a real close look at it. Tell me where your going to get 1/4 inch closer. Not gonna happen
