I run a Trijicon TR24G 1-4x on my 12.5" SBR. It is daytime illuminated by fiber optics and night illuminated by tritium. With both eyes open It's just as fast as my micro T1 on my 14.5" but alot easier and less bulk than a add on 3x magnifier behind a T1. I really like it.

I have a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4 on my 12.5" 6.8 SPC.  I like that setup a lot.  That scope used to be on my 3 gun rifle.

I just put a Weaver Tactical 1-5x on my 12.5" gun.  No chance to shoot it yet but I'll be running it for a little bit in an upcoming class.  Seems okay just pulling it up to my shoulder.

i shot it with scope yesterday.. the gun is still light and handles ok.. but i prefer lightness without the scope

I'm having this same question right now, I have a Nightforce 1-4 that I can't decide if I want to sell or run on my 10.5

Have you seen the compact 3x that Primary Arms just started selling?

Fits on a standard flattop and leaves room for a PVS22.

That's the optic I'm looking at.

How do you like it?

I tried one out a week or so at the range and that's what I plan on putting on my 12.5 300BLK upper when I get it. I ran a trg on my BCM 12.5 for a little but I just couldn't get past the triangle for longer range but I think the reticle on the PST is perfect. I am also looking at the HS model because I don't plan on doing dial ups with it.

the optic is pretty great.. i think there are plenty reviews on the optics section on viper PST.    only thing that concerns me on the SBR is that it's heavier.. .. (of course relative)..

i cannot think of any short comings of the scope itself.

I've had mine for about two weeks.  So far, I have no deep concerns, and the scope seems to work as expected.  I haven't tossed it down a driveway to test its durability, but, it holds a zero and is easy to use.
