Great deal though View Quote Don't forget to check to make sure that your cummerbund is made to place the side plate IN FRONT of the soft armor. Some cummerbunds have it setup so that it puts the side plate BEHIND soft armor, which means if you get an ICW side plate, you'll need a 6x6 soft armor backer behind it and a cummerbund soft armor insert wont help. If it doesn't place it correctly, you may want to consider getting a molle side plate pouch like this one to put on the outside of the cummerbund. If there is enough interest we may also be able to put together an economy side plate pouch deal for this as well. Just want to make sure you have all the information before you make your decision. |

Is there any way to measure how these would fit or not? I'm 5' 8", don't want them to be too large.

Side plates aren't really "sized to the user" like front and back plates are. In the military, most IOTV (Army) and MTV (USMC) users were issued 7" x 8" side plates, regardless of their front/back plate size. |

Perhaps my original post got deleted by mistake. The point of which was to encourage you all to offer carriers that would fit the plates being offered, either linked, or better yet on sale. this would be in your best interests, as well as yout customers' best interests.

I think the Banshee PC only accepts 6x6 not 8x6? I have to ask..

In for 2 (one set). I have no BA. Been looking into it over the past few months. This seems like it would be a good start. I have no PC picked out yet. So I guess by starting with these, I could find a PC that would support them or worse case scenario it sounds like there is a molle pouch that will hold these that can be attached to any PC that doesn't have side support. Though I would prefer if some people could link me to some plate carriers that support these.
ETA:I would like to see this happen. I stay in GD. I happened to stumble over this way & onto this thread (barely in time). Any way we could get a cross post over there for extended viewing, since deadline is so close? |

We offer a few options for people to upgrade or add Side Plate Carriers, but many Plate carriers come with side plate pockets in the cummerbunds already. The key is to make sure your soft armor sits behind the side plate for proper protection.
