Hey, I've built another NVIS configuration (inverted V) and have it built for 40m (31 feet legs), but have my antenna tuner for 80m as well. This thing if freaking huge for my backyard ... (using a 16feet painter's pole as my mast).

Let me know when you can make contact (thinking at night 10PM), daytime works too.

I'm just puttering around the house building another NVIS using the buddipole (for 80m) so I can make it more compact.

My antenna will be back up in the morning...

I cleared 5 acres of blackberrys in the last 3 days, and have a couple of new trees that it will be going into.

Charliez,  on 7.213 will alternate to 3.890 on the even tens of minutes. Back to 40 on the
odds. IE, 12:30 - 12:40 on 40m, 12:40-12:50 on 75m, 12:50 -1:00 back to 40m and so on.
Stepped out for a bit to rescue the bee guy from our dog. Forgot he was dropping off
hives in the back pasture tonight. Doh!

Im sitting on 7213 but there are rag chewers on there righ now...

I have to work today ( I work on weekends, but should  be home around midnight.) if not, we can play with this later in the week. Im ready to get my antenna up a little higher now, I just need to get the tractor out and lift myself into the tree's.

I will string my G5RV up about 30' with a north/south run, and should have that new NVIS antenna up and running sometime this week. Im just really busy this week, and most likely next weekend. I have 5 acres that I have been clearing, and will need to be torching off the piles as soon as the burn ban lifts.

Okay guys,
I'm on 7.213 and have been for the last hour or so.
Haven't heard anything except for monkey chatter from a nearby
QSO. Let me get the back up radio hooked up and will also monitor
3890. Sigh... that reminds me, I should probably take the Yaesu FT7 apart
and see what died in it last winter. Soooo many projects so little time/money.hetime. Surprising how many amatuer ops you will hear on the air mention that they
are loading as they ragchew.

Yeah, I forgot aobut that to midnight schedule you have there R-32. I have to take my antenna down, cloud cover is getting thicker and it's starting to drizzle here, don't want to chance a lightning.

I'll have to try again next weekend, at least I'm prepared now (got the tuning down, etc.).

Ah Sheesh! I just finished adding 5Mhz and 40m bands to my fan dipole.
Lots of folks tuning up on 7.213..
Both are orientated north/south for a best signal towards the coast.
It was perfect tower climbing weather - winds 30mph gusting to 50mph.
