Steepening up the head angle at the same time. I also threw on a set of five dev 155 cranks. Huge difference, totally love this set up now, totally different and more playfull bike. Attached File |

Whatever works. I still can't fathom 155s though, that's crazy! My next project. Trek full stache frame. I had a Krampus 29+ that I used to love, but then got into Enduro/DH and sold it to fund a race bike. In that time 27.5/+ came and went and while I never liked 27+, I always felt 29+ had some potential for certain things. Price was right, XL, I have to try it. Should be a beast uphill if nothing else. Attached File |

Just bought a new bike a couple weeks ago and took it out for the first rides this passed weekend. Entry level, Trek Marlin 5 Gen 3. Changed the pedals to some Race Face ones and a more comfortable seat. Just bought for leisure and fitness on the local rail trails.
I can see myself upgrading to a Roscoe maybe next year if I want to get a little more serious. Attached File |

Got this girl built up finally. 2018 Trek Full Stache.
Interesting bike, steep seat tube (76), and modest HTA (67), long reach, short stays. A little different than where things went with the "downcountry" trend, which is what I liked about it. Snappy bike for it's size. Nice to have something other than an enduro bike for low angle/XCish stuff. Took these pics at Redstone quarry. Attached File Attached File |

I love the evil but its got some miles on it now and I'm scared one day I'm gonna hear the dreaded "crack!" from the rear triangle that turns them into wall hangers. |

View Quote 130mm, gonna bump the front up 10mm, and try a 2.8 out back to lighten it up. It's funny, it's pretty great on flow trails. Not what I had expected, but it is. It's great on low angle stuff in general. These are known to crack in the chain stay also, we'll see what happens. Fun cruiser. |
