I couldn’t believe I didn’t notice it when it was at the movies, I didn’t discover it until I saw it on HBO or something several years later. Great flick…. |

Probably get some hate for this but it's a great dumb action movie. Way of the Gun was already mentioned, that movie is outstanding. |

City of God
The Limey The latter might have been released in 1999, kinda blurry on the date. Still a good movie, if not largely forgotten these days. |

View Quote City of God is awesome Amores Perros is a pretty good flick! Same guy produced Revenant and Babel. While it barely missed the cutoff (1999), I liked Arlington Road |

I liked The Perfect Getaway with Timothy Olyphant & Steve Zahn.

OP is on drugs. That movie was horrible.
Could be the worst movie of the 2000’s. |

If you have read any of the Dirk Pitt books Zahn looks nothing like the description of Al. While he will throw out the occasional one-liner he was in no way the buffoon that Zahn played him. McConaughey did make an excellent Dirk Pitt though. |

View Quote Directed by Bill Paxton; starring Powers Boothe, McConaughey, and himself. It's a small budget, slow burn, Hitchcock type gem. "Whaddya think, kiddo? Does it have to be done?" |
