Yesterday as I was driving home, I was behind a Ford pickup truck. Just in case there was any doubt whatsoever what make the truck was, there was a metal sign about he size of a bumper sticker on the lid of the tool box in the bed of the truck which read "Ford Country."
Ford Country?
In case his fellow motorists behind him had an undying curiosity as to what engine was under the hood, there was not one....but TWO stickers in the rear window with the Ford trademark and "7.3 Liter Diesel" printed over it...one on the drivers side, one on the passenger side.
Talk about being a sucker for the efforts of the Ford marketing deptartment hype. Why do people get so worked up for a brand name with such zealotry?
I was a bit surprised there were no "Calivin Pissing" stickers anywhere.
