I don't believe the Osbourne's owned it, rather they rented it for tours. There was a big bus depot in Lee'sburg Florida (not sure if still in business) that has a roster of different tour buses that they rented out music acts to during the eighties. View Quote Jerry Calhoun " FL Custom Coach's" They are rented or leased, not owned. I believe he has the longest private paved runway in FL. He is a major dick head. Lots of cocaine flown in there over the years. I believe Brian Uridel was the pilot. |

Put it on Craigslist and then post what trades you were offered in the stupidest craigslist trades thread that was floating around last week.

Beachcraft Bonanza? The fork tailed rocker killer! Yeah what is it with that plane? A friend's dad crashed his and died. Quirky handling? A co-worker had one. He called it "the doctor killer". IIRC; there were some AD's (airworthiness directives) to beef up a problem-prone area in the tail section. But that was after several had broken...... Not sure about any of that; subject to correction. |

I thought the bus was cut nearly in two and Sharon's best friend was killed inside. Certainly that bus was totaled.
Are you sure your friend wasn't told a BS story when he bought it? |

View Quote If you watch the video you see relatively minor damage under the large window behind the passenger door. The windows were broken and the side was dented. If he is serious about selling it and I think he is, he should be able to do a public records request with the investigating agency and compare the VIN from the report to his bus. That would remove any doubt for a buyer. Thanks for all the good suggestions. I will pass this on to him when I see him tomorrow. He can take it from here. |

Unless it's been heavily modified the bus in your pictures is not the same one in the video clip.

I seen the pictures of the bus with my friend and another band member when he first bought it. The paint was still original and other identifying features were still present. I know some mod's were done but the VIN is the only way to be sure. He will have to get that info. Merry Christmas everyone! |

I would use it for ... Mac Sabbath, a rock and roll themed, mac and cheese diner View Quote Holy shit this post just made my Christmas. lololol. Whatever happens to the actual bus, I want to option the movie rights for a biopic on the burnout brother who lives in the swamp in the mouldering wreck of Ozzie's tourbus. Waterboy meets Joe Dirt. I was 12. My dad was driving his Kingswood station wagon south on Prarie Ave between Redondo Beach Blvd and Artesia, just after passing under the 405 when I heard the radio report Randy died....I'll never forget it

View Quote It's hard to tell because the side shown in the video is the side painted over and you can't see the front very well which is the part the OP took pics of. OP, I'd like to see more pictures from the back angle, the back mural (does it have the 2 small circular windows towards the rear?)and inside if possible. I'd suspect the fact that it's been altered heavily from it's original condition and been basically left to rot would take a lot away from the value, not to mention someone is living in it. Having said that, I'm sure it's worth something to someone if it is in fact the bus that was involved in Randy's death. I grew up listening to his music and he was an amazing guitar player, even if you don't like that style of music. Please keep this thread updated. |

A VIN check would prove it one way or another, but watching the video I am not sure that is the same bus.

If it were mine and I wanted to sell it, I would just clean it - inside and out. Then put the word out with documentation and sell it via automotive auction house.

First of all, it's OZZY, not Ozzie.
Secondly, I don't believe that's the tour bus involved in the crash that killed Randy. That may be a bus Ozzy used to tour at some point, but that's not the bus from the crash. |
|
Sorry OP, that bus is worth nothing more than its scrap value.

Interesting story and find, I winder if it is the same one?
If it is , I think a big fan would pay ,at most ,20k for it in its current condition. |

I'd sell it for $10 just to get that eyesore and dead beat brother off my land

You're not getting $20k for a rusting bus (that likely doesn't run) that's been occupied for years by a hobo, and is in shit condition. ...and I still don't think this is the correct bus. |
|
No not at all. The taillights are square as well. My friends are round.
The bus came from Calhoun's which is where I believe the other buses were leased. I'm thinking my friends bus may not be the one involved in the crash. I'll show him these pics and look at his original pictures when he purchased the bus to compare. Thanks for the pic. I have searched but did not find this one. |

Definitely not the same bus. Your friend has a 01 model Silver Eagle. The bus in the accident is a Model 10. Completely different.

Take photos. Label them well. Facebook and mention it's for sale. Someone will buy it, possibly for a lot more than you would think. That's a good suggestion. Just post pics and brag it up don't make it a for sale ad I bet you will get offers and/or contacted by reality TV producers |

There is a market for old buses. Not worth much but you can get something for it, especially since it runs. http://www.busconversions.com/bcmclassifieds/index.php https://americanclassicbuses.wordpress.com/ http://www.technomadia.com/zephyr/ |
