President Obama told the African Union Tuesday that he felt he has been a “pretty good” president and if he were allowed to run for a third term, he’d probably be victorious.
Obama made the remarks while criticizing leaders on the continent who wouldn’t step aside at the conclusion of their terms. http://freebeacon.com/politics/obama-im-a-pretty-good-president-and-if-i-ran-for-a-third-term-i-could-win/ |

Ive got nothing to say that wouldnt earn me a visit by the secret service , so . . . . FBHO |

He'd win a third, I have no doubt. Why? Because the libs will always lib.
I get the feeling he is telegraphing a message to those that would seek to have presidential term limits lifted.

Think of the dumbest person you know, and now realize that liberals are dumber than that.
So yes, he would win a 3rd or even 4th term if he were allowed to run. |
He is a piece of shit, but he is correct there, if allowed by law to run for a third term, he would win by roughly the same margins he did in the last 2 elections.

He could have his third term. Congress could repeal the term limits for POTUS.

I don't think he would. The reason I think this is because I don't think he would get the black and college vote. His hope and change has not worked out for a lot of people. He also lost the house and that says a lot.

Thank you mr president for pointing out to the world how ignorant just over 50% of the American people are.
The sad thing is he's right. That's just how fucked we are as a nation.
That pesky 22nd Amendment.
Good luck getting 3/4 of the States to ratify an amendment you buttheaded fucker. |

I've been saying since 2008 that when it's his time to leave office he's going to find a reason to remain and refuse to leave. He'll be Americas first tyrannical dictator. He's already pretty good at being a tyrant. He's also been the worst president this country has ever known.

He is right about being reelected.
and, in his view, he is the greatest president who has ever lived. |

Meh he isn’t sinking the ship fast enough. The proggies are just trying to perfect their candidate and thought they had him/her with what they have now. A few more attempts and they may be successful tho .

he would win. doesn't mean youre worth a fuck mr quota president

And if I had a better swing I'd be on the PGA Tour.
Whatever..... |

Surely, any attempt to run again in 2016 or stay in office past this, short of repealing the 22nd Amendment before November 2016, would be quickly stricken down by SCOTUS...
Oh... shit... fuck me. Nevermind. |

Quoted: With people like Boehner and McConnell in charge I would not be surprised View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: He could have his third term. Congress could repeal the term limits for POTUS. With people like Boehner and McConnell in charge I would not be surprised Constitutional amendments - how do they work? So the 'term limits for POTUS' are the 22nd Amendment. It limits the President to two terms (plus the remainder of the term in which he became President if he became President due to the death of the President) - so technically, it's concievable that someone elected as VP could serve 3 terms - if he won two on his own after becoming POTUS. To repeal the 22nd Amendment would take itself take a constitutional amendment. It's been tried and went nowhere. So both Houses of Congress would have to pass it with a 2/3rds majority (34 Senators is possible; 290 Congressmen is not), then 3/4ths of the States would have to ratify in (38 out of 50) in time for our historic President, Barack Hussein Obama, to win enough primaries to be on the ballot in enough States to win. |

His critical self-assessment skills are as poor as his ability to govern.
So now, all of the sudden, he cares what the Constitution says?
Yes well, the masses have never been particularly adept at making good judgement calls Mr. President.
Your two terms in office are evidence of that fact. |
Is it me or.....do you get the feeling he will not be leaving office at the end of his second term?
on this, he and I agree
because 11,400,000 are on welfare 41,700,000 are on food stamps 10,200,000 get unemployment source: http://www.statisticbrain.com/welfare-statistics/ (don't look at the data, you'll get either angry or depressed) and because there are polling places where 127% of the eligible voters show up and 100% vote for him, but there is no voter fraud and 30,000,000 illegals have poured into the country and will somehow be able to vote in 2016 and well…52% of the population is just too stupid to be voting |
