The Germans are pretty well armed. Their Leopard 2 tank is one of very few in the world that can go toe to toe with an Abrams. The French Foreign Legion has proved they can bring one hell of a fight. I think the Poles are going to start really working towards improving their military in fear of what Russia may be planning on doing. The Swiss know what they are doing to, hell pretty much everyone in that country are part of their military. They also make some damn fine weapons too. There is a reason nobody fucks with them.

I would imagine France followed by the UK then a big gap to Poland and Germany, Italy. Followed up by Spain, and Portugal. After that we are talking exclusively territorial defense entities with some ability for peacekeeping operations if they can hitch a ride on our or UK/FR transport. If you consider Turkey as "Europe" they are pretty damn imposing to anyone except US/Russia/China but they have little to project power. Just fuck up their neighbors. |

Russians aren't going anywhere. It's US and NATO aggression that is pushing the war. Crimea and the Ukraine is none of our business.
If we wanted to stop the Russians, just stock warehouses filled with alcohol. Once the Russians find it, it's over. Three days of drinking and we can walk in and disarm them. Besides, if Russia really wanted to ph*ck with the West, they'd dump foreign currencies (especially U. S. Treasuries) and demand gold or rubles/yuan for their oil and gas. Economic warfare can achieve what military might cannot. |
