Wahlberg, in a pardon application filed in November and pending before the state parole board, acknowledges he was a teenage delinquent mixed up in drugs, alcohol and the wrong crowd. He points to his ensuing successful acting career, restaurant ventures and philanthropic work with inner city youths as evidence he's turned his life around. The 43-year-old former rapper, Calvin Klein model and "Boogie Nights" actor wants official forgiveness for a separate, more severe attack in 1988, in which he assaulted two Vietnamese men while trying to steal beer. Unless those crimes include, rape, murder, or crimes against children. If you're guilty of those, then a short drop and a sudden stop is what should be in your immediate future. |

Who gives a fuck whether he's pardoned or not? And why should it matter to him?
Does it stand in the way of getting roles in movies? No. Does it stand in the way of earning money? No. Does anyone besides him give a shit? No. It's just a PR stunt to say in the news.
