Not my thing, but anything that makes an AR more appealing to a larger market is good with me. The more people that have them, the better.

They have some pics of the metal prototype on their Facebook page as of today.
Kind of ugly to me and definately not worth the 300 or more they are going to ask for it. |
|
Maybe it will look better in aluminum. The nose and teeth look the worst. A raised punisher logo on the magwell side might look decent but I think this is too toyish.

I like the shark. The skull? Nah...not for me. If I did, it certainly would be nothing more than a mantle piece.

Maybe it's me, but I don't like the whole skull theme or zombie theme on guns.

I don't want my rifle to look like a carnival ride.
This is an indicator that parts of the AR industry are jumping the shark... |

I'd buy a metal one.
Polymer, not so much. Edit - The nose hole looks like a fun place to get your finger in and slam a mag home. |
|
I like the look, just not enough to buy it or build an AR off of it. Almost the same feeling from the P40 Warhawk design lower. I'll pass.

But might be cool for a benchrest competition lower or something. And how in the heck are you holding the gun and mag if you have your finger in that hole while inserting a mag? |

Where I put my fingers is none of your concern Sir. |

might be cool for a zombie theme gun/competition gun,I cant see myself buying one

The skull design, not so much. The concept of printing a lower is cool. The end result will only improve with the advance of the technology.
|
|
Finally, something uglier than those fucking spikes whatever they are lowers.
|
|
|
Sorta want.
I wish they would do a fucking eagle like that. That would be the shit! |

But I can certainly appreciate the time and thought that was put into it. But if it becomes one more gun behind one more blade of grass, I'm ok with it. |
