It was a long 3 months with 3 kids and no kitchen sink or dishwasher, but I couldn’t be happier with the results. Plus, I somehow convinced the wife that we needed a beer and wine fridge.

Hate mine in my new house...I miss having a dirty and dirtier side when I'm cleaning chicken, etc

It was almost exactly $50,000, which included doing the stairs in wood, new carpet and trim upstairs, all new solid interior doors, and also redoing my office.

I did a lot of the work myself.

No clue what the value is now.

I rarely use it and it keeps the kids from climbing on the countertops.

If I sell the house, someone can replace the range hood with a microwave if they want.
