LeBron James has spoken out again after sparking anger for suggesting Houston Rockets Daryl Morey 'wasn't educated' when he sent a tweet in support of protesters in Hong Kong earlier this month.
'Obviously, it's a tough situation that we're all in right now... I think when an issue comes up, if you feel passionate about it or you feel like it's something you want to talk about, then so be it,' James said. 'I also don't think that every issue should be everybody's problem as well.' China is considered the fastest-growing market for Nike, with whom James has a lifetime endorsement deal. In the most recent fiscal year, its revenue from China jumped 21% from the previous year, while overall, sales in China made up 16% of Nike's total revenue. View Quote edit no longer breaking news |

I also don't think that every issue should be discussed by high school educated athletes backed by corporate money funding communism.
FU LJ |

FLJ. Can we trade those in HK wanting freedom for him? They get all his money split between them.
"Communism is good, as long as it does not interfere with my capitalistic ideas of getting paid"
Yes, I care about what this guy thinks.
He has the IQ of a doorknob... |
All he gives a crap about is the next million dollar paycheck not bouncing.
On one hand he is right. He and practically everyone else in sports are morons. As in, many of them are literally people of low intellect. The rest have understandings and opinions worth nothing on these topics. He isn't a politician, be bounces a fucking ball around.
No reason these guys should offer an opinion because they likely have none and probably couldn't articulate the difference between the Republic of China and the Peoples Republic of China, let alone comment on the inner workings of Hong Kong. |
"it's a tough situation we're all in...." is that code for why care about asians when black people problems matter more?
The fuck does Lebron know about education? What a dumb statement.
LeBron has about as much business lecturing someone on Hong Kong as he does commenting on California paying college athletes.
Dude’s an uneducated democratic plantation “man-servant”.
Guy has a high school education from the city of Cleveland, can stuff a ball in a hoop real good, and since he has a fat wad of cash in his pocket people are gonna ask the opinion of this uneducated idiot? He then goes on to give an unintelligible contradictory opinion that only he can understand....since it didn’t make sense. He calls out an older man who has a much more advanced education than the rich ball-thrower and calls him “unintelligent”. It’s hilarious if it wasn’t so sad. |

This shit is awesome, and has to go viral.

Shit, haven't watched the NBA in almost 20 years since they became a bunch of whiny fake injury flopping Soccer wanna be babies.
Also hated Lebron worth a passion since he came into the league, always that he was a retarded premadonna. |
He and the NBA are having really tough issues like how hard should they suck China's cock? Should they just tickle the tip or go for the full deep throat action?
Sure, that guy in Hong Kong that got shot in the face the other day by the Chinese police had a bad day, but nothing compared to trying to manage the optics of this kerfuffle. |
nike really needs to find themselves some new "talent". between him and ck, they come off as a bunch of commie supporters.
LeYuan James. Guys please pay attention to HK if you aren’t already.
It's only a tough situation if you're of the opinion that it's even remotely acceptable to kowtow to communists.
I don't need another reason to say FLBJ (or I guess just FLJ)
He's always been a piece of shit. |

As if I need another reason to hate that cocksucking choke machine.
FLJ. |

Just further proves how wokeness is just a hustle.
“Fuck Uyghars, HK, and Africa, pay me.” - People concerned with “US legacy of racism”. |
Well he sure looks a lot friendlier than Mao. I say "yes."
Meh.
He's just trying to deflect his real issues, the top one having to be his miserable failure as a Laker. Sorry Lebron, that one is not going to go away you miserable piece of shit. |
I really hope the audience for NBA withers up here in the US. Then these millionaire athlete SJWs can go live in China and entertain the shit out them. Since it is so good there they won’t even have to run community charities to help the political prisoners or the slave laborers. Move to China and make money there and enjoy fairness up the ass.

Tucker: LeBron sides with China, not free speech |
Will LeBron get a seat on the National People's Congress and its Standing Committee and will he accept the position?
Or, will he just take the $$? |
'I also don't think that every issue should be everybody's problem as well.'
No, he's right. Northern abolitionists had no right sticking their noses into the issue of slavery in the Southern American States. Lincoln should have minded his own business too. |
Can we stop with the "BREAKING" shit already. This is not breaking news it's just some asshole's opinion.
One of the greatest athletes the world has ever seen. This guy has amazing basketball IQ as well. Has anyone listened to him speak at post game interviews. He is not an idiot. He sides with whomever is putting 10s of millions in his bank account. Can you blame him? In another thread, half of GD would sell their dog, but this guy cannot stand with the company that gives him the most revenue.... So If he sided with Hong Kong, would it have added value to your life?
