Of all the things I've experienced in my life, it's with heavy heart that I have to say I've come across something I don't know how to deal with.

I've always considered myself a consumer of hard-edged, challenging music, but lately, brothers, I find myself (choke) liking music by Barry Manilow.

I cannot express the depth of my shame.  I never liked piano music anyway, and the guy is as queer as a three-dollar bill to boot.

I am beside myself with the inability to cope with this.

My only consolation is at least it's not Elton John.

Pray for me brothers.  Pray I'll get back to proper metallic and alternative hard rock music as quickly as possible.

I've tried playing "Chemicals Between Us" by Bush several times, but it's not helping.

I may have to seek professional help on this one.

I like thrash punk, death metal, psychobilly, and Bette Midler music.  It's going to be ok.

It’s dangerous to go cold turkey.

Ease back into manliness, with some crossover music like the Metallica Black Album.  Then slowly increase your dosage of cool music.

Wife and I went to his show in Las Vegas back in the 1990's and Barry put on a hell of a show.  Much more entertaining than I thought it would be.  I really wasn't a fan but have to admit he does put on a good show.

Gawddammit it's bad enough I wanted to see Rod Stewart when we went to Vegas.

I wonder if I should get checked for Low T.

At first you might be afraid, or petrified

But you'll grow strong

And you'll learn how to get along

Hey, hey you will survive.

It's cool with me.
I'm open to all good shit.
But then again, I've been exposed to, and have played in various forms, on various instruments in various venues and various formats all good shit.

Right now, I'm listening to Sammy Davis Jr.
He did Dramas, Westerns, Comedy, Slapstick and his singing and dancing was top notch from the time he was 4 years old.

Without a doubt, the most talented entertainer to EVER walk the Earth.

There's plenty of good stuff in Neil's vein (no! Not heroin!) which you may like.

Today's question is:

What do you do when your Manilow dies?
