I wanted a rabbits foot bad when I was a kid, happened to find one that had been dyed purple on a window sill in an old house a friend of the family was renovating, carried that thing around in my pocket for years, now I'm wondering what happened to it

I remember seeing things like this as a kid (license plate frames, hats, etc.) and thinking whoever displayed one was a true badass. Been a loooong time since I've seen one since.

Loved the wing glass. My 1970 Ford Ranger F100 XLT had them. Wish trucks still had them.
Mine looked just like this one.
Sold it when I joined the Army in 1980. Guy I sold it to painted it black, with a broom. Yes, he used a broom to paint it.

HS 80-84, small town on a summer evening seemed that everybody was out of the house, cruising,
hanging out in the main grocery store parking lot, walking around, searching for the next party.

Freedom is what I miss most.

Examples include:

Constantly gauging who is within ear shot or closing a door just so they can have a “candid conversation” about your true feelings on a subject without fear of reprisals.

Being able to go out to dinner with friends.

Living with constant sinus infections from wearing a mask.

Having a vote that matters, even to some minor extent.

Turning to any channel on TV/Radio and knowing it’s only moments before someone explains that everything you believe in is wrong/evil.
