I have been in this situation many times before in stellaris
Being the fanatical xenophile spiritualist alien fuckers that I play roaming the galaxy after a while I can say earth would just be integrated after a time. It's the hive minds, machine intelligences, fanatical xeno purifiers, interdimensional beings and the sleeping monsters that hide between galaxys that you need to really worry about. Some of them are pretty adorable though, if unforgivable evil.
