Fail.

Chicago dogs do not have jalapeno's on them.

I don't see any mustard, or celery salt.

And what's with the dog? The end looks like some kind of sausage.

I read that 'Chicago' style hot dogs were created during the Great Depression.
Meat and vegetables in one serving, cheap and somewhat nutritous.
True?
Chili, mustard and onions for me.

And I don’t see the yellow mustard or poppy seed bun.  Potential lack of celery salt as well.

Never tried a Chicago style hot dog,
But the other two looks good.
It’s more the quality of the hot dog, kosher preferably, that the toppings

I seldom go out in the eastern part of the state, but I could surely go for a couple Allentown - Bethlehem style hot dogs, “greekers”(Chili, mustard, onion, at a minimum) as they used to be called in Bethlehem back then, or maybe from Yoccos.  Plus a couple deep fried pierogies.

Triple .
First they fucked up the simple hotdog which should be a dog, some kraut and mustard, and after that they wrecked the pizza.

Which means Flint style is superior to all.

Chicago dogs are my favorite, and when I make them they are decent, but not awesome. Most of the ingredients are only found in Chicago I guess.

I can't get poppy seed buns, neon relish, sport peppers or the proper hot dog itself. Replace those items with a potato bun, relish, pepperoncinis, regular relish and a Coney Island dog. Sad and pathetic, but still kinda good.

One day I'm gonna order all the proper fixings from ,Chicago in one of those kits.

Serrano peppers are very close to sport peppers, and Sabrett's dogs with natural casing come pretty close to Vienna.

You guys need to try a chili half-smoke from Ben's Chili Bowl.

Don't go to Ben's in downtown DC. The area is a little ripe.

But they've got a place at National Airport that has the same menu.

I'd try any of them in OP, but in the end I'd always come back to a Cincinnati chili dog with onions, mustard and a big handful of finely shredded cheddar.

No poppy seed bun either.  Dog needs to be a Vienna Beef or Eisenberg.

I'll let the poppy seed bun slide since they are hard to get outside of the Midwest.

He's in TN so I have to cut some slack.  Last time I asked for sport peppers in a grocery store more than 80 miles from Chicago I got a vacant look and a "What're sport peppers?"

Actually I've got to give him props for finding nuclear green relish.
